![]() Happy March and happy spring to everyone! While we are expecting to have some snow this weekend, there are certainly gentle yet energetic hints of spring in every corner of our life here in Denver. March is also a month of printmaking in this region so there are numerous types of exciting shows and activities throughout the town. I myself was invited to "MONOTYPE-THON"-all day long monotype printmaking demonstration- at Art Student League of Denver and made a print showing here. The time framed I was initially given was quite tight to produce a "decent" print so I ended to be "overtime" to finish at least this piece. Then the print was taken to a silent auction which was held at the school for fundraising in the same evening and I was confirmed that my print was purchased by the daughter of Bud Shark, a renowned master printer who resides in Colorado. Wow! I titled this print 'Spring Springs' and it coinsidently seems to be "appropriate" to St. Patrick Day celebration today! I am also showing a few of my prints at Edge Gallery in Highland and Lakewood Cultural Center in Lakewood. Please visit those galleries if you have a chance, as well all other galleries that participate for Mo' Print 2016 (www.moprint.org) to support the Colorado printmaking community. Oh, one more a good news to share to everyone. I have been accepted to the Art Student League Art Market this year again. Last year was my first experience with the show and I was so overwhemingly delighted with the all supports and sales at the show. I was also SO thankful to the weather during the show too. While I have already been busy with all the preparing works for the show, I am truly hoping to have another good show and see many new and returning patrons as well as my beloved friends. The date of the show this year is June 11th & 12th, Saturday and Sunday, as usual. Please do MARK the calender now ^.^ and see you everyone at the show!
