![]() Turned the callender again, so quickly. March, I've got a few more weeks to work in the studio before taking off for Japan. I have produced a quite bit of my new prints so far so I am not having a panic attack yet but a consistent nervousness stays the same for the summer shows. While new print designs and motifs are bubbling constantly in my head, execution of them into a paper is a commitment, no more fun datings, you are married, so to speak. I have been using more stronger values in colors with usual complicated motifs, which means that you must be ready to make a few steps away as you may get a shock like visual awe. I enjoyed the freedom, the freedoms of expressions, really. There are no such rules that I must place certain colors and shapes on the top of certain shapes and colors. I can finish where I want, regardless there are some blank spaces left, which does not happen in many of my prints, I can create an unrealistic creature and claim it a girl, I can make up an event that I ever been or seen, I can choose the shade of pink for a face and green for the body (woo I should use this one!) and I can claim a victory when I lost in the real life. It is as if I am living in a spare life with a full size freedom! That's how I see my work, my freedom. And ultimately I will put a few smiles on your face too. Keep on printing.
