![]() Well my favorite autumn is here, finally. My least favorite 90 degrees seems to be gone at least till next year, a cozy "a cup of hot tea and a piece of lovely apple pie" evening season is back. I have also been back to the studio, after visiting my in-laws in Ohio and spending the eventful Labor Day weekend with a lot of laughter. Unlike last year, I have a few good agendas for this fall. One is the Pattern Shop Studio gallery show in November and the other is the holiday show at Foothills Art Center in Golden, Colorado. Needless to day the both shows have brought me a quite excitement and while the ASLD printmaking studio is tending to be crowded this time of the year, I really want to focus on producing good works. My recent works involve many translucent layers and I will stay with the process for a while as I am so happy with the outcomes and I have many more designs and compositions I would like to try with the same technique. Frankly the process of layering is quite unpredictable, meaning I only know the outcome when I actually print it. It is almost like a Nike moment, 'Just Do It!' and I keep telling the slogan to myself each time. Anyway I am still smiling and that's what matters most.....Keep on printing.
