Just returned from the Crested Butte festival. Boy the town is full of people from Texas and Oklahoma! They even told me that Colorado is their suburb, funny. Visiting a new town is always a learning opportunity, such as demography, culture, economy, customs, and etc. The four and a half hour drive from Denver was an absolutely scenic route. There were quite a few ups and downs but as long as I wasn't driving, I was a happy traveler. The show was over Elk Avenue, stretching from the 1st st to 5th, along the lovely restaurants and shops, covering by 165 artists white tents. The show organizers hospitality was superb, feeding us almost every meal! The show was a success and I am grateful. Driving back to Denver on Sunday night, we stopped on a mountain pass for gazing stars, having another gratefulness for presence. Next goal is Stanley Arts Festival in September. Keep on printing!
