Now my print is up on the official site at: http://www.dasheventsdenver.com/#!cheesman/ctzx I hope you will have a chance to visit the show and my booth during the two day festival. Happy the rest of June to all!

Hello again. Wow, this is so unexpected but yesterday I got a call of Cheeseman Park Art show 2and asked if I was still interested in participating to the show.. "YES!" it was my quick answer, of course! I applied for the show sometime in the spring and was informed that I was on a "waiting" list, which did not give me a very much promising outlook. I however had indicated to the show administrator that I would be interested to remain on the waiting list and wow, yesterday I got accepted! So I am making a quick announcement about the show so that anyone who reads this blog get the news right away! Since it has just happened I have not been notified my booth assignment and so forth yet but as soon as I find something, I will inform you soon. Well keep on printing MORE! *(^-^)*! Stay tuned! Thank you.
![]() Happy June, and happy Mami! The most anxious event to show my prints took the place on the last weekend at the Art Student League of Denver Art Market Show 2016 and boy it was fun! The heatwave over the weekend was a bit hard on everyone but we all were grateful that there was absolute no rain drop or hail. The both Saturday and Sunday had a great traffic for the show and I was so appreciative for everyone who made an effort to visit my tent and spent sometime to view my prints (and purchased them.) While I could have left one panel on the back wall open to let the breeze come through, I was so eager to show my prints as many as possible to "the world" so I left the traditional three walls as you see on this image, which created the "greenhouse" like effect under the tent! (sorry!) Well but the good news is that I was given the "First Runner Up Award" on Saturday (not because I showed off a lot of my prints though). I initially did not quite understand what was exactly happening in front of my booth when several event officials suddenly approached me and announced about the award to me. Wow, "Picture, Tom, picture!" I screamed to preserve the moment as I gradually understood that I was given something REALLY fantastic. I asked Libby who worked for ASLD about the definition of the award and she explained to me that "First Runner UP" basically meant that I was the second BEST of the entire show! Wow, that is deep. Among the prizes I received, I was told that I would be showing my art at the Pattern Shop Studio in this November with other five various award recipients. I am so very honored to have this opportunity and will certainly treasure it. I thank you so much again for all of your supports for my printmaking path. I am so grateful. ![]() This is just an additional photo of myself. I will take a short break from printmaking and go back to the studio from July. Keep on printing and wish you everyone for a safe and memorable rest of the month! |
